Terms of Use

Last updated 7 September 2026

By using RadiMeter you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Scope of the service

RadiMeter is provided free of charge for anyone to use. There is no account and no subscription. You may use it for commercial work — testing instruments you manufacture, sell, rent or operate — without asking us.

We do not promise that the site will remain available, that its address will not change, or that any particular feature will continue to exist. It is a beta, and it may change or stop.

Data and user responsibility

Everything you enter is stored in your own browser (see Privacy). Keeping a copy of anything you need is your responsibility; use the Excel export. We cannot restore data we never held.

You are responsible for the correctness of what you enter, for the traceability of the reference fields you use, and for the conclusions you draw. See the Disclaimer — it is part of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Intellectual property

The design, text, code and calculation implementation of this site belong to its author. You may freely use the results the tool computes from your own measurements — those are yours. You may not copy the site itself, or substantial parts of its written material, and present it as your own.

The IEC standards described here are copyrighted works of the IEC and are not distributed from this site. This site cites clause numbers and states methods in its own words; it does not reproduce the text or tables of any of them. You must obtain a standard from its publisher or an authorised distributor. Where a regional or national body adopts one of these standards under its own number, that adoption is a separate publication with its own publisher and its own terms.

No warranty

The site and the tool are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the calculations are free of error or that the results are fit for any regulatory purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author of RadiMeter is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site — including any decision taken about an instrument on the basis of its output.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, where the author is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
